Dual Enrollment for Courses Taken at Local Colleges
Pine-Richland High School has entered into an agreement with Community College of Allegheny County ( CCAC), University of Pittsburgh and La Roche College so students receive both high school and college credit for "rigorous" core academic courses.
CCAC classes are taught in the evening at the CCAC North Campus or on the Internet and taught by CCAC faculty.
University of Pittsburgh and La Roche College courses are taught during the school day by high school faculty certified as adjunct professors.
Students should work closely with their counselors to understand how to qualify and schedule dual enrollment courses.
