College Admission Testing - Advanced Placement Exams
The
Advanced Placement examinations offer students an opportunity to
receive college credit. Each test is scored on a scale of 1-5. Colleges
usually award credit for scores of 3, 4 or 5.
Students are responsible for checking with individual colleges to ascertain their Advanced Placement policy. These tests are given here at Pine-Richland High School in May.
Students who have been enrolled in Advanced Placement courses are required to take the examinations. The 2008-2009 Program of Studies (link) lists the AP courses available at Pine-Richland High School.
