College Admission Testing- SAT II Subject Tests

Students take the SAT Subject Tests to demonstrate their skill in five different subject areas:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- History
- Language
Some colleges may require one or more of these tests for admission or placement purposes. Make sure to check with each individual college to note if it requires the SAT Subject Tests. Students can register using the paper booklets located in the Guidance Office or online at College Board at: www.collegeboard.com.
SAT II - The Achievement Test ( SAT II)
- Each test is one hour in length (maximum of three per testing date)
- Tests are taken by juniors or seniors whose colleges require subject tests
- Tests are given by the College Board six times per year on Saturdays and is usually offered in October, November, December, January, March, May and June
- The tests are required by some colleges as an additional indicator of achievement in specific areas (check individual college for information)
